Tamil Nadu Class 12 board exam results: How to check?

Tamil Nadu Directorate of State Examinations announced the results of Class 12 examination at 09.30 am on Friday, May 8, 2026. Students can access their Class 12 results from official websites. tnresults.nic.in And dge.tn.gov.in Now. Tamil Nadu Directorate of State Examinations will also publish the results on DigiLocker.

How to check Class 12 results online?

Students can view and download provisional mark sheets by visiting official websites. Here are the steps on how to do this:

1. Visit tnresults.nic.in or dge.tn.gov.in

2. Click on the link titled “SELECT (+2) Results” on the home page.

3. Enter registration number and date of birth in prescribed format

4. Submit details to view result

5. Download and save the temporary sign sheet for future reference

12th Grade results via WhatsApp

In a first in the state, students will be able to check their HSE results via WhatsApp with the support of Tamil Nadu e-Governance Agency. Students are required to save the number +91-7845252525 on their mobile phones and send a “Hello” message. They will then be asked to select the relevant department and exam category, after which they will need to enter their registration number and date of birth. The results will be delivered directly to their phones.

Students can also access and download Class 12 marksheets through DigiLocker. Follow these steps:

1. Open DigiLocker app or visit official website

2. Log in using registered mobile number and one-time password

3. New users will need to create an account

4. Go to “Issued Documents” or “Training” section

5. Select Directorate of State Examinations in Tamil Nadu

6. Click on “SELECT +2 Result 2026”

7. Enter registration number and date of birth

8. Submit details to access digital tag page

9. The cue sheet can be downloaded, saved or printed for future use.
