Local high school band director arrested on grooming charge

A local high school group director was recently arrested, Preble County Şerif Mike Simpson confirmed the News Center 7.

49 -year -old Paul Bingle was arrested on Friday evening and was reserved for Preble district prison on charges of preliminary grooming, according to prison records.

Simpson confirmed that Bingle was the director of Eaton High School Group.

The Eaton Community School also lists Bingle as a high school employee in the staff directory.

The arrest of Bingle was the result of a joint investigation by the Preble County Sharif office and the Eaton Police Department.

Additional details about the investigation were not immediately available.
