Telugu Stars Shower Wishes on Chief Minister Joseph Vijay

Telugu film personalities and directors extended their wishes to the newly sworn-in Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Joseph Vijay after the grand swearing-in ceremony held in Chennai on Sunday. Stars of the Telugu film industry took to social media to congratulate the actor-turned-politician for his historic political journey.

Actor and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan shared a heartfelt message about X. “Heartfelt congratulations to @TVKVijayHQ Chief Thiru @actorvijay AVL who took oath as Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and all those who took oath as Ministers. I hope the new government will fulfill the aspirations of the people, provide transparent and progressive governance and lead Tamil Nadu towards greater growth and prosperity,” he wrote.

Popular Telugu director Vamshi Paidipally, who worked with Vijay in the blockbuster movie Varisu, also wrote an emotional congratulatory note. “THALAPATI ERA BEGINS… Thalapathy @actorvijay Sir, from the sets we worked on together to this historic day, I have always seen you as a man who remained calm in chaos and graceful under pressure,” he wrote. He further added, “I congratulate Hon’ble Chief Minister Thiru C. Joseph Vijay Sir for taking oath today. I wish you more strength and success in serving the people of Tamil Nadu. May the strength always be with you sir.”

Actress Simran, who has a strong fan base in both Tamil and Telugu cinema, also congratulated Vijay. Describing her as “the leader of the people and the true Jana Nayagan”, he wrote: “Today is not only a historic day, but also marks the beginning of a powerful new era.”

The swearing-in ceremony witnessed huge celebrations from Vijay’s supporters in Tamil Nadu and marked a new chapter in the actor’s political journey.
