Body of triple murderer Julian Ingram found by police
Police have found a body believed to be that of triple murder suspect Julian Ingram in the midwestern part of the state.
Ingram was last seen leaving Lake Cargelligo on January 22, shortly after he allegedly shot his former partner Sophie Quinn, 25, her friend John Harris, 32, and her aunt Nerida Quinn, 50.
On Monday police located what is believed to be Lachlan Shire Council and found that Ingram was seen leaving the town.
A body believed to be that of the 37-year-old was found along with the vehicle on Mount Hope, about an hour from Lake Cargelligo.
Police conducted extensive searches in and around Mount Hope following reports that Ingram had been seen in the area in the days after the shootings.
The remains have not yet been officially identified.
