Danny Rohl confident of Rangers future after board talks

There will be another summer restructuring at Rangers with the departure of captain James Tavernier after 11 years and the expiry of several loan deals.
Rohl said the club needed more authority figures in the squad and believed he and the board were on the same page regarding summer recruitment.
“The most important thing, what I’ve said many times, is that we need to take all the information and what we need into the new season,” he said.
“I think you can guess that we lost the captain with Tav and that means a big signal for us as well.
“We need new leaders to set the standards we want on the training ground in difficult moments of the match, and more leaders for the dressing room.
“I think this is very important, this is a great opportunity to work on this.
“We spoke to the club again yesterday and you can really trust me, especially after the last three weeks I was very clear about what we need to be at the top, at the top, at the top.”
