EV Explodes, Kills One In Bengaluru

BENGALUR: A 65-year-old person died when the battery of an electric scooter while charging exploded in Murphy Town of Bengaluru city at around 03:00 in the morning on Tuesday. It was stated that the dead person was the driver of the car, Lourd Nathan.
Police said Lourd Nathan put the electric scooter in charging mode and went to sleep. He charged his vehicle around 23:00. While Lord Nathan was charging his vehicle on the ground floor of his house, while his son Frank Anthony was on the first floor, the battery exploded, causing a fire and engulfing the ground floor.
When Frank heard the explosion, he immediately ran to the ground and saw that his father was seriously injured. While the injured person was taken to Bowring Hospital, doctors determined that he died at the scene. While the police detected an unnatural death, the investigation is continuing to determine whether the explosion was caused by the vehicle’s battery failure or technical reasons.
