IPASE Begins in State; No Malpractices Reported on Day One

Hyderabad:Intermediate Public Advanced Supplementary Examinations (IPASE) conducted by Telangana State Board of Secondary Education (TGBIE) started with Second Language Paper-I and Paper-II exams on Wednesday.
97,988 students registered for the first year Second Language Paper-I exam held in the afternoon session. Of these, 90,397 attended the exam and 7,591 did not attend the exam. Participation was 92.25 percent.
27,958 students registered for the second year Second Language Paper-II exam held in the afternoon session. Of these, 24,489 attended the exam and 3,469 did not attend the exam. Participation was 87.59 percent.
There were no cases of malpractice on the first day of the exams.
According to the press release, observers have been deployed in Jogulamba, Mahbubnagar, Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Siddipet, Sircilla, Mancherial, Nalgonda, Khammam and Mahbubabad districts to monitor the conduct of the exams.
