Pedestrian fighting for life in Royal Perth Hospital after being hit by a car in Carramar

A man is fighting for his life after being hit by a car north of Perth on Wednesday night.

A blue Holden Commodore ute and a male pedestrian collided at the intersection of Flynn Drive and Pinjar Road in Carramar at around 6.20pm.

The male pedestrian, understood to be in his 20s, suffered serious injuries and was taken to Royal Perth Hospital by St John ambulance.

He is fighting for his life in the hospital.

The 76-year-old male driver of the Commodore escaped uninjured.
