Slow death of Ben Shapiro’s Facebook juggernaut shines light on right-wing media’s vapourware

The past 12 months have not been kind to the American right-wing media establishment Daily Wire.

Co-founded in 2015 by leading commentator Ben Shapiro, the company recently announced A new round of staff layoffs, following the first round last year. Speculation is that the latest tranche of layoffs corresponds to approximately 50% of the company’s workforce. Daily Wire itself denial this figure, but did not offer a specific alternative to it.
