Spanish MotoGP rider Alex Marquez had a serious accident during the race at the Catalan Grand Prix on Sunday.

The pair jockeyed for position as Marquez raced with race leader Pedro Acosta. His motorcycle rolled over several times after falling to the ground. Acosta’s bike slowed down unexpectedly and Marquez was unable to avoid him on the track.
