RBI elevates 5 senior officers to executive director rank

Mumbai: Reserve Bank of India has appointed five senior officials as executive directors. These include Gunveer Singh, Monisha Chakraborty, Suman Ray, Sudhakar Malli and Ravi Shankar, according to an internal order issued by the central bank’s human resource management department.

Four of the newly appointed managing directors – Gunveer Singh, Monisha Chakraborty, Suman Ray and Sudhakar Malli – belong to the joint seniority group (CSG) cadre, while Ravi Shankar is from the department of statistics and information management (DSIM) cadre.

The officers are currently posted in key RBI departments in Mumbai, including Head Office and Mumbai Regional Office. RBI said the validity date of its promotions will be announced separately.
