According to officials, rainwater accumulated on roads in areas such as Doddaballapur, Devanahalli, Hoskote, Chintamand Bagepalli, slowing down vehicular movement and affecting daily commutes.

He informed that Kerala, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu are expected to receive rainfall and added that Karnataka may also see hailstorm activity.
“On the rain pattern, Shrivastav added: “Northwest India will remain largely dry, leading to a rise in temperatures. However, Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu are expected to receive rainfall. A heavy to very heavy rain warning has been issued for Kerala. “Hailstorm may also occur in Karnataka, while Northeast India is expected to receive heavy to very heavy rainfall.”
He said that temperatures for Delhi-NCR were already high and expected to rise further and informed that ‘orange alert’ has been issued for Delhi for the next two days. “The maximum temperatures recorded yesterday were between 42-43 degrees Celsius. Drawing attention to the violence in some regions, the official added: “A ‘hot night’ warning has been issued in Western Rajasthan and Western Uttar Pradesh, and therefore an ‘orange alert’ has been issued.
