CCI keeping pace with market trends, taking firm stance against cartelisation: CAG CCI

He was speaking at an event to mark the 17th Annual Day of the Competition Commission of India (CCI) in the national capital.
While talking about digital markets and trends, Murthy said that CCI is keeping up with the latest developments in this field.

The antitrust watchdog has the duty to ensure fair cross-sector competition in the market.
Murthy said CCI has transformed India’s market landscape from a rigid command-and-control regime to a modern, competitive economy, adding that the regulator has taken a firm stance against cartelisation.
Murthy in his speech also said that the CAG office has developed a standalone LLM (Large Language Model), an Artificial Intelligence (AI) platform for use in public sector audit work.
