Trailer Launch of Varun’s Film Abruptly Called Off

It seems like the problems of David Dhawan and his son Varun’s new comedy movie Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai will never end. The latest shocker was the sudden cancellation of the trailer launch after guests started arriving on Thursday afternoon.

This development comes after multiple release date changes and legal issues surrounding the music.

None of the film’s stars (Varun Dhawan, Pooja Hegde and Mrunal Thakur) arrived at Thursday’s event. The director or producer was also nowhere to be seen. The cancellation was done so haphazardly that the film crew appeared to have nothing to do with the event.

A new date for the trailer launch has not been announced. The movie is currently scheduled to be released on June 5.
