Donald Trump’s taxes, the IRS and the limits of the Overton window

The concept of the “Overton window” was coined by a think tank employee while making a rather blunt observation in a 2010 book. IT Started in the mid-2010s And has since grown rapidly in general useFirst ambitious podcasters and then political commentators from all walks of life began using this phrase casually. Of course, it is no coincidence that all of this coincides with the rise of Donald Trump’s political career.
To be clear, a window is not a pane of glass through which you see: it is a “window” in the sense of an opening or opportunity.
