Britain’s Got Talent’s finalist revealed: Jeremy Clarkson’s Hawkstone Farmers’ Choir receive most viewers vote while drone act Celestial get judge’s Golden Buzzer in new semi final twist – and fans aren’t happy

Hawkstone Farmers Choir became the latest group to reach Britain’s Got Talent on Saturday after drone artists Celestial were dispatched with a shocking Golden Buzzer return.
The choir, currently led by farmers Simon Gwilliam and Lizzy Dean, was first formed by former Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson after he searched for singing farm workers to feature in an advert for the Hawkstone beer range.
Despite judge Simon Cowell hinting at the start of the show that the chorus were ‘predicted to win’, the farmer singers were still stunned when their names were called.
Speaking to presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, the group explained how they were inspired to sing to help other farmers struggling with loneliness and mental health issues.
It comes after Ant and Dec announced the judges would be given a surprise Golden Buzzer and would shockingly send one performer through to next week’s final, leaving viewers furious.
Following the performance, which saw the crew’s drones create shapes in the sky outside the studio, Alesha Dixon said: ‘This was one of the most beautiful things I’ve seen on this programme.’
Hawkstone Farmers Choir are the latest group to reach the Britain’s Got Talent competition on Saturday after drone artists Celestial were dispatched with a shocking Golden Buzzer return.
Viewers were left furious at the start of the show after hosts Ant McParltin and Declan Donnelly announced the judges would be given a joint surprise Golden Buzzer.
Simon was left almost speechless before adding: ‘This was one of the most beautiful, incredible productions we’ve done on this show in years. I don’t think it can get any better than this.’
Fans were left unimpressed with the new twist as Simon and Alesha joined Amanda Holden and KSI to take the ‘epic’ drone show to the final.
When it came to Answer: They are not. ‘It’s literally an unwinnable move for logistical reasons’: ‘This is a band’s golden buzzer. Really it probably should have been Ant and Dec’.
The Hawkstone Farmers Choir, aged between 27 and 74, performed Elbow’s song ‘One Day Like This’ during their auditions for the ITV programme.
They certainly impressed judge Amanda, who used the Golden Buzzer to send the choir to the live shows.
Viewers can expect to see more of the choir on screen as they appear in the upcoming fifth series of Clarkson’s Farm.
Jeremy, 66, who has been starring in the popular Prime Video series since 2021, also helped create the chorus while being supported by Hawkstone Brewery.
A TV employee said: Sun: ‘Filming for the fifth series is well underway and the finished series is likely to be broadcast next year.

‘However, fans will be able to see series four in a few weeks, but according to Jeremy it’s a much darker season than we’re used to.
‘But the appearance of the Hawkstone Farmers’ Choir on the next trip will cheer him up even more.
‘They’ll have to get used to being even more famous, though.’
Jeremy brought the 32-member group together in 2024 and they are also working to raise awareness within the farming community and funds for mental health charities.
Elsewhere, the choir released an album and planned to donate the money to mental health charity Shout.
It was released ahead of Mental Health Awareness Week in May, and the choir donated all proceeds from its records directly to Shout to support Farmers’ mental health.
The record was named The Banned One after a Hawkstone advert was banned for ‘not complying’ with broadcast standards.
Victoria Hornby, managing director of Shout, said: ‘Hawkstone Farmers Choir has given an incredible voice to the mental health issues faced by many in the farming community.
After the performance, which saw the crew’s drones create shapes in the sky outside the studio, Alesha said: ‘This was one of the most beautiful things I’ve seen on this programme.’

As for X they said: ‘Can’t Ant and Dec win the Golden Buzzer in the Semi-Final?’
‘We are extremely grateful to be a charity partner of this project. The funds raised from this vinyl will be vital, allowing us to train more volunteers and support anyone struggling in the farming community. It will save lives.’
Banned One is now available to purchase from the Hawkstone website for £7.50.
Jeremy previously shared that he was ‘overjoyed’ as he received praise from the ‘fantastic’ chorus of farmers from across the UK.
Speaking to fans on social media, Jeremy said: ‘I watched Britain’s Got Talent for the first time tonight because the Hawkstone choir were on stage.
‘They were truly amazing. ‘These guys are all farmers and work incredibly hard for truly incredibly small rewards, and seeing them all on that stage with all the love in the room made my heart sing.’
She admitted that she watched the auditions while suppressing her emotions: ‘I’ve actually recovered and thank you Amanda Holden for pressing the Golden Buzzer.
‘It shows that people quite like the farmers and they’re doing a very, very good job, you’re all doing a very good job. I’m a very happy man tonight because the chorus is amazing. That’s it.”
