Nagarjuna Recalls His Emotional Bond with ‘Manam’ and ANR

Veteran star Nagarjuna is celebrating the remarkable milestone of completing four decades in cinema, a journey defined by style, versatility and unforgettable performances. Among the many important dates in his life, May 23 holds a deep emotional place for the actor and his fans around the world. Nagarjuna started his acting career with his first film Vikram on this day in 1986. Coincidentally, May 23 also saw the release of the film Manam in 2014, which became even more special as it marked the last screen appearance of his legendary father Akkineni Nageswara Rao.

On this memorable occasion, Nagarjuna went to X and shared an emotional message expressing his gratitude for the love and blessings showered on him. Touching on the importance of the date, he wrote, “Thank you for all the blessings and love showered on me today, 23rd May!! A date I will never forget! The day I got the honor of producing and screening my legendary father ANR’s last movie MANAM; a movie in which I had the privilege of sharing screen space with both my father and my sons. Years ago, 23rd May also gave me the opportunity to release my first movie Vikram and I started a journey to entertain you all and receive your love. To all my fans who have been with me all these years.” I offer my deepest gratitude and look forward to many more May 23s.”

The master actor continues to be one step ahead with exciting projects and new content for the audience. Nagarjuna is currently busy shooting for his groundbreaking 100th film, tentatively titled King100, directed by Ra. Karthik.
