Leeds looked like they would struggle at first but manager Daniel Farke turned things around, so both he and his players deserve huge credit.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has proven to be a very shrewd signing on a free transfer from Everton; As expected, Elland Road’s bear pit also played its part.

If there was one disappointment it was the shy performance against Chelsea at Wembley in the FA Cup semi-final.

But the main task was the safety of the Premier League and this was achieved with something to spare.
