Viral video shows Domino’s employee calmly handling customers’ refund dispute

A viral video shows a Domino’s employee keeping his cool when confronted by an angry group of customers demanding refunds.

videoFootage recorded by one of the customers shows the group being upset when the employee refused to issue a refund after the guests did not return the pizza box to the store.

The employee offered store credit, which was not well received by customers.

“You can actually give me a refund,” one customer said in the video. “You can literally get your money back because all the food was dry and dirty.”

“I’m trying to offer you a loan,” the employee said calmly.

“We don’t live here,” one woman in the group replied. “We live an hour and a half from here.”

“You need to return the product so I can give you a refund,” the employee said.

One customer retorted: “But that was something you should have said over the phone.”

The Domino’s employee said it was a misunderstanding and assured the customer that it was not his fault, but noted that returning the product was a requirement for a refund.

Still, customers insisted he was disrespecting them.

“You [were] It’s really rude,” one of them said.

Customers were astonished when the employee blew a kiss and said “Good night”.

“I can’t imagine asking for a refund for what I ate!”

“Did he just blow you a kiss?” one person said behind the camera.

The video went viral on X, and the overwhelming majority of commenters sympathized with the Domino’s employee.

“Isn’t it prudent to bring the product if you’re expecting a refund?” the video’s poster asked.

“Oh my god! I don’t even like sending food to a restaurant if they get my order wrong,” another user X wrote. “I can’t imagine asking for a refund for what I ate!”

“Refund policies vary but generally some proof or return is expected,” a third user said.

Other users praised the worker for keeping his cool during the heated argument.

“This is ridiculous. This employee is better than me,” one commenter wrote.
