Governor to address Kerala Assembly on Friday

Governor Rajendra Arlekar will address the Kerala Legislative Assembly on Friday, May 29. The Governor’s policy speech was approved in a special Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister VD Satheesan on Monday. According to the schedule announced by the Parliament, the debate on the motion of thanks to the Governor will be held between June 1 and June 3. Mr. Arlekar’s previous policy speech, delivered during the LDF government in January this year, had led to extraordinary scenes in the Assembly after the then Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan ‘corrected’ the Governor’s speech after his departure.
