What is Nimisha Priya’s case?
38 -year -old Nimisha from the Palakkad Region of Kerala was trained as a nurse and moved to Yemen in 2008. In 2014, Nimisha opened his clinic in partnership with the National Talal Abdo Mahdi of Yemen, as Mandate established a local partnership to start a business. However, Nimisha had a spreader with Mahdi, then filed a complaint against him. Mahdi, who was arrested but finally released from prison, continued to threaten him. Nimisha’s family says that he has injected a calming down to Mahdi to save his seized passport. However, the overdose of the sedatives led to death. He was arrested while trying to escape from the country and was convicted of murder in 2018. Nimisha is currently in a prison in Yemen, Sana’a.
