“This is not just a case of closing the doors and not opening for the day. 9 News Perth.

“So the cheapest option for us was to obtain the cost of three generators at a slightly more than $ 18,000.

“There is another deduction next week, so I didn’t only lose power for a day last week, they’re planning another $ 18,000 at a cost of $ 18,000, so I’m going to get out of $ 18,000 more than $ 18,000 again.

“I think the state government needs to hold the Western power responsible, they look at large businesses when such things are done, they should look at small retailers like us and offer some kind of help.”

Responding to Hepinstall’s situation, Energy Minister Amber-Jade Sanderson said that the state offers financial aid to businesses and households affected by deductions.

“Planned deductions are a really important part of protecting the system,” he said.

“Unfortunately, they can create incredibly disturbing and distortion, and we apologize for it, but ultimately we must maintain the reliability of the system.”

Western Power’s website, said it does not provide compensation for the planned power outages.
