‘Shouts and screams’ were heard by neighbours in weeks before child, woman and man died after falling from 47-storey block of flats

Neighbors reported hearing ‘shouts and screams’ weeks before a child, woman and man fell to their deaths from a high-rise flat in London.
Emergency services rushed to the building in Elephant and Castle, south London, at 7.30am on Wednesday morning after reports of people falling from a height.
Paramedics arrived at the scene in Churchyard Row within four minutes and the London Air Ambulance also attended, but sadly none could be saved.
A woman who lives in the building told the Daily Mail: ‘I’ve been hearing shouts and screams for the last two weeks. It has stopped since Wednesday.
‘The police knocked on the door and asked if I heard shouting and screaming. I told them yes and assumed it was local.
‘Scary. We received an email saying there was a serious security incident.’
The Daily Mail has seen video showing police and first responders trying to resuscitate a casualty on the roof of a gray public building at the back of the apartment block.
An eyewitness, who wished to remain anonymous, said: ‘It was terrible, I couldn’t concentrate on work yesterday because I felt so bad.
