Real Madrid: What now for Vinicius Junior after Jose Mourinho signs deal?

Mourinho was seen speaking to Vinicius after leaving the pitch following his interaction with Prestianni.
But what was most shocking were Mourinho’s post-match comments.
While Mourinho openly supported his player Prestianni, he claimed that Vinicius had increased the tension with his celebration in front of the home fans.
“You score a goal from another world, why are you celebrating like this?” Mourinho’s statement is as follows:
“The same thing happens in many stadiums. How many states has this happened? How many stadiums? How many? How many?”
“He is a player out of this world, I love him. Vinicius tells me one thing, Prestianni tells me another. I want to be balanced.”
The remarks sparked widespread criticism, with many accusing Mourinho of diverting attention away from allegations of racism and instead placing responsibility on the victim.
As well as expressing his belief that Vinicius was disrespectful in his goal celebration, he pointed to the club’s legendary striker Eusebio as proof that Benfica is not a racist club.
Asked whether Vinicius had provoked the crowd, Mourinho said: “Yes. I believe so.”
“This has to be the craziest moment of the game, an incredible goal. Unfortunately [he was] I’m not just happy that I scored that surprising goal. “When you score a goal like that, you celebrate respectfully.”
He added: “When we were discussing racism I told him he was the greatest person in the history of this club. [Eusebio] It was black.
“This club is the last thing it can be, it’s racist. They [Vinicius and Prestianni] He told me different things. But I don’t believe one or the other. I want to be independent.”
