‘There will be no such party; a private dinner only because of his past problems with alcohol.
‘It’s been a long time coming and it’s going to be full of love. ‘Michael adores Louise, she has truly been his rock and he can’t wait to make it official.’
Michael was previously married to Corrie star Janette Beverley and the couple have two children.

The actor was taken to hospital by officers after falling down the stairs and then spent the night at Manchester police station before being released without charge.
Police said they ‘took no further action’ after releasing the troubled star.
A source told the Sunday Mirror at the time: ‘Everyone is really worried about Michael. Things have reached an all-time low with Louise. He was there when Michael fell down the stairs. He slipped after rowing with someone else at home.
‘Louise was screaming when she fell and was trying to help her. He was very worried. However, the tension between them has been going on for a while. Friends think it’s only a matter of time before they break up.’
But the duo has managed to make it work and move forward in their relationship.
Before their split, it was revealed in December 2017 that the couple had been engaged for nearly a year.
An insider told The Daily Mail at the time: ‘Michael has been engaged for 12 months but has never spoken about it as his personal life is very private.’
Louise also stood by Michael during his battle with drug addiction. It’s been a tumultuous few years since he was acquitted of child sexual offenses in 2013.
Michael was also declared bankrupt in 2019 After paying huge legal fees to clear his name of child sexual allegations.
The actor spent £200,000 fighting the charges before being found ‘not guilty’ on all 12 charges by a jury at Manchester Crown Court in 2013.
