Paris Saint-Germain won back-to-back Champions League trophies by beating Arsenal on penalties in the dramatic final played at the Puskas Arena on Saturday, May 30, 2026.
Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes scored his team’s final penalty kick over the bar to give PSG a 4-3 win.
The regular time and extra time of the match ended in a 1-1 draw and the match went to a penalty shoot-out.
Arsenal took the lead six minutes later when Kai Havertz broke away and headed past PSG goalkeeper Matvey Safonov. But the reigning champions dominated possession and Ousmane Dembélé equalized from the penalty spot in the 65th to send the final into extra time for the first time in 10 years.
Eberechi Eze also missed an earlier spot-kick, but David Raya saved from Nuno Mendes to ensure Arsenal stayed level.
