‘Nobody will want to have sex with you’: Queensland teacher’s sex chats with students, racist classroom stunt revealed in tribunal decision

“No one will want to have sex with you or date you.”

A high school student known as Student P recalled the moment his former teacher, known as AHS, said these words to him during class.

AHS told the boy things like, “If you keep rocking in the chair, you’ll be paralyzed from the waist down and won’t be able to get an erection,” and no one will want to have sex with him.

The teacher has been barred from reapplying to teach for five years after details of inappropriate sexual discussions with students, “degrading” racist behavior and action that left a student “bruised” and bloodied were revealed in a decision handed down by the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal.

The decision states that AHS largely denied his behavior when interviewed by investigators, instead trying to place blame on students and other staff.

A girl known as Student A recalled talking about “sexual fantasies and how men and women should not be with one person” in part of her affidavit released in AHS’s January 2026 decision.

She also told the girl, “I know you and (your boyfriend) will get along.”

Student A’s sister gave evidence that AHS was talking about sexual fantasies, stating that “men are built to have more than one partner, and (men) like threesomes more than gangbang where they can have two women.”

AHS denied the behavior but admitted to discussing pornography, that monogamy is a social construct based on religion, and to making remarks to the effect that “the shape of the penis is designed to extract sperm from other people” while speaking to students more than five years ago. In another incident the following year, he took a Rubik’s cube from a boy known as Student D, saying “he has things to play with in his body” and told him he would break the cube and distribute it around the school.

Many students testified that the teacher talked about masturbation and said she had not touched herself in a while; The court confirmed Student D’s evidence.

Student D also added that AHS made a comment about beating people outside of school because he has a black belt in martial arts.

‘Humiliating’ racist demonstration

At one stage AHS stood up non-European students in Year 8 and told the class that those standing were “taking away the rights of other (white) students”.

According to the ruling, a video shot by one of the students in the class shows AHS calling an Aboriginal student a hypocrite, referencing the Black Lives Matter movement and speaking to students in an “offensive, intimidating and derogatory manner.”

AHS’s behavior in the video has been described as “racist, confrontational, offensive, degrading and intimidating.”

The tribunal was “stunned by the obvious distress of the students affected” during the ordeal, and the QCAT ruling stated that the Department for Education found the racist behavior “sufficiently serious to warrant a finding of misconduct”.

AHS denied this behavior until he was shown the video, where he later acknowledged his behavior but denied the actions were racially motivated.

The decision stated that the behavior was not intentional and was “emotionally triggered”.

Student wing ‘injured’ by the action

A student known as Student Y was injured when AHS deliberately stabbed his arm with a metal bandage clip until it bled, after he asked AHS how painful the tattoos were.

When shown a photo of Student Y’s scar, AHS denied that the incident occurred, saying Student Y was a “professional victim.”

In another example, AHS nudged a student who was “grimacing” while collecting dodgeballs.

When Student Z asked him not to touch himself, AHS said, “Why, what will you do if I touch him?”

Door slammed into pregnant woman’s face

Several teachers have come forward to report concerns about AHS’s offensive language and intimidating behavior towards staff; At one point the man was swearing and slamming the door in a pregnant teacher’s face.

The woman, known only as Teacher 4, had not yet told anyone she was pregnant with her first child when AHS asked her how far along she was.

She said it was inappropriate for him to ask, and later in the day he aggressively confronted her by slamming the door in her face.

The woman believed that she had become a “target” at this point and explained how insecure she felt one afternoon when AHS and her friends photographed her and a colleague walking to their car two minutes before the last school bell; He thought it was a bid to get him into trouble with the Department of Education.

AHS became aggressive and agitated when his behavior towards staff was called out by the school’s deputy principal.

Teacher’s ‘arrogance’

AHS had been teaching for nearly two decades at the time of the offense and chose not to respond to the allegations made against him or provide any material as well as submissions in the QCAT proceedings.

He largely denied his behavior when interviewed by inspectors, “minimizing and deflecting the inappropriateness of his behaviour” and attempting to place the blame on other students and staff.

The court found he had shown “arrogance, insensitivity” and indifference which was against the students’ best interests and breached the special trust placed in him to protect children from harm.

“The criminal conduct occurred over an extended period of approximately four years and included sexualized, racially biased, aggressive, physically inappropriate, and unprofessional conduct toward students and staff at the school,” the court wrote in its decision.

AHS resigned from his position at a Queensland high school after the Department for Education made allegations of inappropriate behavior against him.

The Ministry made disciplinary findings against him in 2023, which would have led to his termination from AHS if he had not resigned.

In 2024, the school where AHS worked referred him to QCAT for disciplinary action, and AHS’s teaching registration was canceled in 2025 because he stopped paying fees.

The court in January barred AHS from reapplying to teach for five years.
