Melbourne manhunt under way after driver allegedly rams Dandenong North home, stabs woman

A manhunt is underway in several suburbs after a driver allegedly crashed his car into a Melbourne house and stabbed a woman hours after attacking another man.
Police said the first man was stabbed at a property on Bradman Tce in Epping at around 7.30am on Sunday. The person with non-life-threatening injuries was taken to hospital.
The frenzy escalated dramatically less than three hours later when a silver Honda CRV wagon crashed into the front of an Exner St home in North Dandenong.
Following the crash, the male driver emerged from the wreckage, entered the home and allegedly stabbed a female resident, police said.
The suspect then fled the scene on foot before medical teams arrived.

Medical teams intervened at the scene before taking the woman to the hospital. It is considered that the injuries are not life-threatening.
Victoria Police believe both stabbings were targeted attacks and confirm the suspect was known to both victims.
A massive search operation has been launched for the criminal who is still on the run.
His appearance is described as African and he was last seen wearing a brown shirt and black trousers.

Authorities warned citizens not to approach the suspect under any circumstances.
Anyone who sees him is asked to call Triple-0 immediately.
Information, video footage or witness accounts can also be recorded anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
