Kakatiya University Journalism Department Under Scrutiny

Warangal: After many complaints of irregularity, the University of Kakatiya launched an investigation into the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication. He was appointed by the registration officer in May and Prof.Dr. R. Mallikarjun under the chairmanship of Reddy (Geology) spent a two -month investigation. Among his members, Prof.Dr. B. Suresh Lal (Economy) and Dr. K. Aileaah (Sociology and Social Service).

The investigation was requested by a letter from the University College Director on 11 April and a representation of the Partial Teachers Association on 22 April. The complaints claimed that Dr Sangani Malshwar had violated university norms, violated the appointment orders and invoice payments of the appointment, updated daily news or invoice payments and provided daily news to the students. They also accuse him of assigning three faculty members without the approval of the department.

During the hearings, the part -time lecturers explained the unpaid work for years and called on the Committee to propose the abolition of Dr Malshwar. They asked the university to review the leadership, to facilitate management, to fill the infrastructure gaps and to allocate their workloads fairly. The committee is expected to present its report soon.
