Tube strikes: London Underground to grind to a halt in hours – all lines affected | UK | News

Brits are once again turning a blind eye to new travel misery in London, with morning traffic disrupted by delays, cancellations and general distress.

Transport for London (TfL) has confirmed a nightmarish start for passengers on the Circle Line, which has been disrupted by “serious delays” affecting the entire line. Desperate passengers faced long waits on platforms this morning following a sudden wave of train cancellations.

And the misery doesn’t end there for workers, students, commuters, tourists and everyone else traveling on the subway this morning.

The District Line was also affected and TfL reported minor delays in the busy area between Turnham Green and Ealing Broadway. Meanwhile, passengers on the Hammersmith & City Line are facing a slow start to the day, with minor delays continuing along the entire route.

Fortunately, it’s not all bad news. TfL statuses currently show “good service” operating on all other Tube lines.
