Celebrity chef José Andrés has revealed one way Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are like “every other family.” The 56-year-old actress, who previously appeared in Meghan’s Netflix series, With love, MeghanShe considers the former royal staffer a friend – using a recent interview to discuss the Sussexes and praising Meghan as a mother.

To talk PEOPLEHe explained that Meghan and Harry use a specific room in their home as a “meeting place”, just like “any other family”. “Like every family, they turned their kitchen into a meeting place,” he said.

Describing what Meghan is like as a mother to seven-year-old Prince Archie and five-year-old Princess Lilibet, she added: “I love how Meghan interacts with her children and her meals.”

During an appearance on her show, Meghan revealed that Harry is not a fan of a particular type of seafood.

Meghan told him: “You know who doesn’t love lobster? My husband.” He joked back, “And you still married him?”

Speaking further about the couple to the publication, she explained that meeting them was like meeting other friends.

He said: “When we see each other or chat, we talk about the same things everyone else talks about [about]Right? Life, family, good times, new food, new restaurant.”

José had been friends with Meghan and Harry for several years before appearing on their show.

While their families stepped out to attend a huge royal wedding today, Meghan and Harry were noticeably absent and the couple were not thought to have received an invitation.

The couple, who live in a multi-million pound home in Montecito with their two children, moved to the US shortly after leaving royal life in 2020.
