TDP announces three candidates for Rajya Sabha elections

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has announced Chintakayala Vijay, Bhashyam Ramakrishna and Sana Satish as candidates for the Rajya Sabha elections.
The party’s national president and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu submitted the B – Forms to them at the camp office on Saturday evening, June 6, 2026.
The BJP has fielded Rajya Sabha candidates for five States; Two Union Ministers were left out
Mr. Vijay is the son of Legislative Assembly Speaker Chintakayala Ayyanna Patrudu and the State general secretary of TDP.
For Mr. Satish, it is his re-nomination to the Rajya Sabha. He was elected to the Upper House of Parliament in 2024 and his term will end on June 21.

Mr. Ramakrishna is the founding chairman of Bhashyam Educational Institutions.
TDP stated that the elections were held with a focus on social engineering, commitment and loyalty to the party and encouraging young leadership.
The candidates were selected considering their long-standing relationship with the party and their contribution to the growth of the party and public service activities.
The party added that leaders who fail to comply with the current round of political appointments will be considered for other positions in the future.
