Trump to visit Federal Reserve on Thursday, White House says
The White House said Washington (Reuters) -US President Donald Trump’s Federal Reserve President Jerome Powell, a strong critic, will visit the central bank on Thursday.
Trump repeatedly threw Powell to us again because he did not reducing interest rates more aggressively, he did not refer to “Numbskull” on Tuesday and declared him on the public.
The White House said on Wednesday that Trump has published on Thursday at 16:00 (2000 GMT) that he would visit the Federal Reserve.
The program did not say whether Trump would meet Powell.
A federal reserve official did not respond immediately to the request for comments.
White House Deputy General Manager James Blair said that the administrative officials would visit the FED on Thursday this week, but did not say that the president would attend.
Trump’s visit represents the acceleration of his pressure on Powell and the Bank, which is traditionally seen by himself and his advisors.
