Thai Defense Ministry spokesman Sanant Kongsiri said that three other civilians, including a 5 -year -old child, were seriously injured after firing a settlement of Cambodia in the state of Thailand.
Surasant said that clashes continued in at least six areas along the border. On Thursday morning, the first conflict took place in a region near the old Temmis of the old Ta Muen Thom on the border of the Oddar Aromchey state of Surin and Cambodia.
Both Thailand and Cambodia accused each other of first fire.

Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet said that Thailand attacked the positions of the Cambodian Army in the Temple of Thom and Ta of Ta Ta Kraber, and that Cambodia expanded to the region of Preah Vihear and Thailand in the Ubon Ratchathani province.
“Cambodia has always maintained the position of peaceful solving problems, but in this case we have no choice but to respond to armed aggression with armed force,” he said.
In the early hours of Thursday, Cambodia said that he had reduced diplomatic relations with Thailand to the lowest levels, expelled his ambassador to Thailand and remembered all Cambodian staff from his embassy in Bangkok. This responded to Thailand’s closure of Northeast border crossings with Cambodia, withdrawing his ambassador, and expelled the Cambodian ambassador to protest the explosion of a five Thai soldier in a Five Thai soldier on Wednesday.
The relations between the neighbors of the Southeast Asian neighbors have sharply worsening since May, when a Cambodian soldier was killed in an armed conflict on another land than a few small patches, which both countries claim to be their own regions.
The Thai army said that his powers heard a unmanned aerial vehicle before he saw the first clash of Thursday, before he saw the six armed Cambodian soldiers approaching the Thai station. He said that Thai soldiers were trying to shout at them to neutralize the situation, but the Cambodian side began to open fire.

The Thai authorities claimed that the mines were thrown along a new way along the ways of mutual agreement should be safe. They said the mines were Russian -made and that there was no species employed by the Thai army. Cambodia rejected Thailand’s account as “unfounded accusations ,, which said that many unmistakable miners and other ammunition was the legacy of 20th century wars and unrest.
The nationalist passions on both sides were further inflamed, and the Thai Prime Minister was dismissed for possible ethical violations to address the border dispute on 1 July.
Border disputes are long -standing issues that cause periodic tensions between countries. The leading and violent conflicts are around Preah Vihear Temple.
In 1962, the International Court of Justice dominated Cambodia on the temple zone, and there was a great irritation in the relations of both countries.
Cambodia returned to court in 2011 after a few conflicts that killed approximately 20 people between the army and the Thai forces and have displaced thousands of people. The court confirmed its decision again in 2013, a decision that still shakes Thailand.
