Maguiresbridge shooting: Mother and two teenage children killed in Northern Ireland shooting named by police

A mother and her two children were killed in the suspected triple murder and attempted suicide in Northern Ireland.
The detectives from the Northern Irish Police Service (PSNI) chose three victims in the incident in Maguiresbridge on Wednesday, 45 -year -old Vanessa Whyte, Co Clare, daughter Sara Rutledge, 13 and son James Ruttle, a veterinner surgeon of 14.
The fourth person, a man, remains serious in the hospital after the incident in the Drummeer Road area of Maguiresbridge on Wednesday. Police said four people were members of the same household and four people were a firearm injury.
A murder investigation was launched and the police continued a triple murder and the suicide line made an investigation.
Detective Chief Inspector Neil McGuinness said: “Today, our thoughts remain with loved ones whose worlds are fragmented.”

“Our investigation continues and I am enthusiastic to repeat our application for everyone who has knowledge.
“In the last few weeks, I am eager to receive news from everyone who speaks with Vanessa, Sara or James.
“No matter how small or insignificant, any information can be very important for our investigation.”
St Patricks Lisbellaw Hurling Club said that all three are active and dear members of our club and will be desperately missed “.
“We are working with GAA in the province and national level to implement the critical event protocols of the Association.” He said.
He continued: “We will work close to all appropriate services to ensure that those who need support at this difficult time can access it.”
First Minister Michelle O’Neill and the Deputy First Minister Emma Little-Pengelly expressed their shocks in the tragedy on Wednesday.
“We were very upset about the events in Maguiresbridge this morning,” he said in a joint statement.
He continued: “Our thoughts are with the loved ones of the victims and their families and to the wider community.” We would like to pay tribute to our emergency services that respond to the incident. “
Maguirestown is a small village about three miles away from Eniskillen. The 2021 census had a population of 940.
