If there’s one theme to the 2026 FIFA World Cup so far, it’s visitors from foreign countries discovering just how great America is.
From German guys discovering Waffle House in the Deep South to Japanese fans experiencing chips and salsa extremes in Texas, it was absolutely great to see guests of this great nation exposed to the best parts of our culture in America.

One of the countries whose residents have a particularly enjoyable time in the United States is Scotland.
From the moment they jumped off the plane, the Scottish pack began to see the sights and sounds of America.

We all know the Scottish tourist who makes the pilgrimage to gas station hub Buc-ee’s and the Airbnb bagpipe brigade, but one Scotsman got the ultimate taste of freedom after setting foot in the stadium to watch his beloved country begin its World Cup quest.

When the Tartan Army (the name given to the devoted supporters of the Scotland national football team) took over Boston Stadium to watch their men compete against Haiti, one man was absolutely mesmerized by what he saw, but it had nothing to do with anything going on on the field.
What’s the matter, man? Don’t they have cheerleaders in Edinburgh?

Let’s hope the Scottish national team is more focused on football than this guy is, otherwise this will be a quick tournament for them.
It’s so nice to see once again that the things we take for granted in this country are cherished by those from far away lands, and scantily clad women dancing in harmony are definitely one of them.

I hope there’s a Twin Peaks restaurant in Foxborough, because if so I doubt this guy will ever return to the homeland.
