Major supermarket branch closing with half price sale launched on all items | UK | News

A major supermarket is closing its doors with a major closing sale initiated.

Then, a few days later, the supermarket chain will move to a larger premises in the former B&M store in Byron Place on July 2.

The superstore is known for selling discounted frozen food, groceries, home and beauty products across the UK.

The move will create seven new jobs for the local community.

Before the closure, the store announced that it would sell all stock at a 50 percent discount on the branch’s last day.

A spokesperson for Farmfoods said: “Our new store at Byron Place Shopping Center in Seaham will open at 8am on Thursday 2 July.

“Our current store will close on Sunday, June 28, following a 50 percent discount on all stock sales that day.

“The new store, which is a relocation and expansion of our existing unit opposite, will offer our full range of branded and own-brand products including frozen food, groceries, chilled foods, bread, milk, fresh fruit and vegetables as well as a range of household goods and other items.

The new store will be open at 8 a.m. Monday through Saturday, closing at 9 p.m. on weekdays and at 8 p.m. on Saturday. It will be open from 11.00 to 17.00 on Sunday.
