Clive Davis, music mogul who shaped Whitney Houston’s career, dead

Music mogul Clive Davis passed away at the age of 94.
The famous manager was recently hospitalized due to an upper respiratory tract infection. New York Times reported.
The Davis family made a statement on the issue. music producer’s Instagram“To the world, our father was an iconic musical legend whose vision, instincts, and relentless pursuit of perfection shaped the soundtrack of countless lives. He discovered, mentored, and supported the greatest artists in modern music history and left an indelible mark on the culture that will last for generations,” he writes.
The statement continued: “To his family, Clive was father and grandfather, the steady presence at the center of our lives, the source of wisdom, strength, courage and unconditional love. No matter how extraordinary his professional achievements, he never lost sight of what mattered most: the people he loved.”
“In every part of his extraordinary life, family remained Clive’s greatest pride and deepest joy. Today, we celebrate not only this towering figure whose influence changed music forever, but also the man who led our family with grace, generosity and kindness. We will miss him greatly, will always cherish him and carry his love with us for the rest of our lives.”

Davis helped shape the careers of some of the biggest names in music, including Whitney Houston, Bruce Springsteen, Alicia Keys, Carlos Santana, Barry Manilow, Aerosmith, Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson.
