The Championship Series will feature approximately 23-24 events on fields featuring approximately 120 players from February through August. The Tour announced that 10 of the 15 PGA Tour Championship Series events expected for 2028 have been lined up.

The Challenger Series will feature larger fields of approximately 144 players and tournaments will be played simultaneously with championship series events. Championship Series players will withdraw from Challenger Series events and will not be able to compete.

The Tour’s postseason will also undergo a major revamp starting in 2028; match play and many of the Tour Championship revolve around “prestigious courses” where the Tour has never held a tournament.
