The United States and Iran concluded the first round of talks in Switzerland and plan to hold working-level technical talks in Switzerland again this week. The Iranian team during the technical talks was led by Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Garibabadi.
“We have laid a very good foundation for a successful final agreement,” Vance said at a press conference before leaving for the United States on Monday. “The final agreement is the house. Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammed Galibaf, who headed the delegation, said that the management of the Strait of Hormuz would not return to the pre-war situation.
