ISIS Brides: Woman granted permit to return from Syria after subject to Temporary Exclusion Order

The last of the so-called “ISIS brides” has been given permission to return to Australia.

The Australian woman had previously been subject to an Interim Removal Order.

She was the only woman from the Australian group with links to ISIS in Syria and was given orders.

Home Secretary Tony Burke said: ABC He said the license was issued last night.

“Yesterday we received final advice that we could no longer have an exclusion clause for him.”

He said that the expulsion decision is valid until permission is given and that it should be given when permission is requested.

Mr Burke added that Australian security agencies were ready for their arrival.

“Where he lives, where he works, where he studies, if he books a ticket anywhere, he will have to declare that he cannot use any telecommunication device without giving 24 hours’ notice.”

The woman and her child are the last Australians in Al Roj camp in Syria.

It is unclear when the duo will land in Australia.
