Sally Grace Contarino: Nevada Police launch appeal after Australian traveller goes missing on USA trip

A young Australian woman gets lost in America because she couldn’t catch a flight back home.
Sally Grace Contarino, a 26-year-old Melbourne woman, disappeared while on holiday in the United States while her family desperately tried to gather information about her whereabouts.
He last contacted his family on June 20 (just a day before he was due to return to Australia) but has not been seen or heard from since.
It is believed Ms. Contarino may have been in the California or Nevada areas before her disappearance.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department opened a missing persons case after officers published a flyer asking for the public’s help in searching for the Australian.
Ms. Contarino is described as having a slim build, fair skin, brown hair and brown eyes.
His family requests information about his welfare and location.
The last photo Ms. Contarino shared from her trip was taken in Mount Charleston, a small mountain town 40 miles east of Las Vegas.

Hospitals in the Nevada area were asked to check Ms. Contarino’s records in case she was admitted.
Police have not released any information about the circumstances of his disappearance.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade declined to comment, citing the family’s request for privacy.
