M56 traffic LIVE: Chaos on motorway as vehicle fire shuts down lanes – severe delays | UK | News

A car fire has caused major disruption to the M56 and two lanes of the westbound carriageway have been closed.

The incident occurred between Junction 11 of the A56 Chester Road at Preston Brook and Junction 12 of the A557 at Runcorn.

It was first reported at around 10.15am on Thursday, June 25, according to AA Roadwatch.
