Man in hospital after his motorbike collides with car on wet roads in heavy traffic

The motorcyclist who collided with a car on wet roads in Perth’s heavy traffic this morning was taken to hospital.
The 23-year-old was traveling east on Welshpool Road in Welshpool when his blue Yamaha YZF-R3 motorcycle collided with a blue Kia station wagon at the junction with Swansea Road just after 7.30am.
The 54-year-old female driver of the Kia escaped uninjured.
St John Ambulance paramedics took the motorcyclist to Royal Perth Hospital under Priority 2 conditions.
It was learned that the condition of the seriously injured person, who was treated, was stable.
Major Crash investigators are examining the scene and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
