Meghan Markle is expected to return to England with her husband Prince Harry in July. The couple left for the US after stepping down from royal duties in 2020. The couple faced criticism following their departure from the Royal Family and fell out with many senior members of the Firm.
But returning to the UK could benefit Meghan Markle and her brand, As Ever. In New Magazine, royal biographer Ingrid Seward said: “This could be a very good move for his business, but it does leave him facing a bit of a crisis because coming to a country where he is so unpopular will not be easy.”
The move was not well received by many people.
Journalist Sarah Vine said the Sussexes “had almost no chance of understanding what the job really entailed before handing in their resignations”. But returning to the UK could be beneficial for Meghan, even if it poses some difficulties.
Meghan’s lifestyle brand As Ever is now her main venture.
Seward says the brand has a regal feel, so close ties with the Royal Family will be beneficial. Launched in 2025, Ever sells a variety of homewares and food products, including candles, wine, jam and chocolate boxes.
When Meghan first introduced the world to As Ever. He explained the meaning of his name on Instagram.

But now, the International Business Times reports that As Ever’s future looks uncertain and the company is reportedly “financially struggling.”
