Reigning champion Cody Rhodes pinned both Zayn and Gunther on behalf of Cross Rhodes towards the end of the match. He lunged at Zayn but actually threw Gunther out of the ring.
Rhodes once again pulled Zayn into the middle of the ring for the Cross Rhodes, but Zayn escaped and rolled up the “American Nightmare” for the three count for the incredible win. The crowd in Riyadh went crazy as Zayn surprised everyone.
WWE broadcaster Michael Cole called the pin a “miracle.”
“It’s a miracle in Riyadh,” Cole said.
