Asaduddin Owaisi Fills Enumeration Form

Hyderabad: AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi, along with his family, officially filled and submitted the voter census form under the ongoing SIR of electoral rolls in Telangana. BLOs visited the Hyderabad MP’s house on Sunday.
Later, in a press release, he openly criticized the election authorities for providing census forms primarily in Telugu and demanded that these be made available in Urdu (the second official language of Telangana) and English to assist non-Telugu speakers.
Owaisi questioned why the physical census form limited entry to only five children per household, noting that Indian law does not bar voting or map rights based on large family sizes.
He requested Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to request the Election Commission to accept common IDs like PAN cards, driver’s licenses and food security cards as many documents currently in the standard 12-document list (like permanent residence certificate) are not issued by the Telangana state authorities.
