$3.3M slot jackpot won by traveler at Las Vegas airport
A Las Vegas traveler had a memorable send-off when he won a $3.3 million jackpot on a slot machine at Harry Reid International Airport.

The airport victory came just days after another visitor scored big at a Las Vegas casino.
On June 16, a visitor from Atlanta won $10,292,912.32 while playing the IGT Megabucks progressive slot machine at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino, according to the resort. Authorities said the guest had only been playing for a few minutes before turning the $5 bet into an eight-figure jackpot.
“Las Vegas is built on unforgettable moments, and it doesn’t get any more memorable than turning a $5 bet into more than $10 million,” Westgate Las Vegas President and General Manager Cami Christensen said in a statement at the time.
The resort said the winner celebrated with guests and staff as news of the jackpot spread throughout the casino floor.
Huge airport bonuses aren’t unheard of
While a multimillion-dollar airport jackpot is rare, many other travelers at Harry Reid International Airport have been seen striking it rich before boarding their flights.
