Fans would be forgiven for thinking that the iconic New York City venue was hosting a glitzy awards ceremony, with a red carpet placed near the garden’s VIP entrance and taken down shortly afterwards.

Adding another web of intrigue to the top-secret weddings, parts of a complex set were transported to the venue on a tram marked ‘red carpet fascia’.
Photos taken for the Daily Mail on Monday showed large trucks arriving at the iconic indoor venue as equipment was being loaded into the venue.
