TNEA Counselling Rank List 2026 released at tneaonline.org; how to check ranks, counselling details and more

Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) 2026 rank list was released on July 1, 2026, with Higher Education Minister P. Viswanathan announcing the merit list for admission to undergraduate engineering programs across the state.

The rank list includes 2,36,017 candidates who registered for the centralized admission process. This year 53 students achieved a perfect cut-off score of 200 out of 200, highlighting an outstanding level of competition.

With the release of the rank list, the merit preparation process has come to an end, paving the way for TNEA 2026 counseling and seat allotment process for more than 2.36 lakh engineering aspirants.

TNEA Ranking List 2026: How to Check

Candidates can follow these steps to download and check the TNEA 2026 rank list:

1. Visit the official TNEA website.
2. Click the ‘Queue Details’ link on the home page.
3. Select the sort list based on the relevant category.
4. Open the PDF file.
5. Use your registration number or other required details to find your rank.

Candidates are advised to visit the official TNEA portal regularly for latest updates regarding the counseling programme, seat allotment and admission process.

With the publication of the TNEA 2026 ranking list, the admission process moves to the counseling phase. Special category counseling will be held on July 13 and 14, while online counseling for other candidates will be scheduled between July 20 and July 30.

The release of the rank list marks the beginning of the seat allotment process for undergraduate engineering admissions across Tamil Nadu. Thousands of candidates will now attend counseling to gain places in their preferred colleges and courses.
